Sortino ratio
A risk-adjusted return measure that penalizes only downside volatility.
The Sortino ratio is like the Sharpe ratio but divides excess return by downside deviation rather than total volatility. By ignoring upside swings, it better reflects the pain traders actually care about, large losses, when comparing strategies.
