Margin call
A demand to add funds (or be liquidated) when losses erode your margin.
When a leveraged position's loss pushes equity below the maintenance requirement, the broker issues a margin call: deposit more or have positions force-closed. Trading well inside your available margin is what keeps a normal drawdown from becoming a forced exit.
