EMA (exponential moving average)
A moving average that weights recent prices more, so it turns faster.
By decaying the weight of older data, an EMA reacts to new moves quicker than a simple moving average of the same length. That responsiveness cuts lag but also produces more whipsaws in choppy conditions.
